EMPLOYEE FAQ

Why should I use a recruiter?

Our Clients, some of Alberta’s best employers, know that we present them with the crème de la crème of Candidates. Consequently, if we forward them your application you greatly boost your chances of being selected because you may be fast tracked to the top of pile.

We offer a range of employment opportunities in many different sectors; we strive to match your background, skill set and interest with your dream career. Also remember that we are the intermediary between you and the employer; therefore we can offer you impartial advice on improving your resume, interview skills and give you general pointers that will help you get the job you always dreamed of. All this is absolutely free of charge to you!

Do you only recruit for skilled trades positions?

When our company was first established, the shortage of skilled trades persons in Alberta meant that most of our clients were recruiting for these positions. Skilled trades became our specialty. As our company has grown, so has our reputation. We now attract a range of clients looking to hire for a range of positions. Take a look at our available positions, and if you're dream job isn't there, feel free to send us in your resume. You never know what may come up.

What are the costs of using a recruiter?

As mentioned above, our services are available at no cost to Candidates. If you are happy with the services we have provided, we hope you will recommend us to your friends and colleagues. Check out what other job seekers have said about our services.

Can I send you my resume even though there are no current job postings in my field of interest?

Please feel free to send us your resume even if we are currently not advertising for a particular position. Our Clients are always open to hear from exceptional Candidates. Don’t forget that by sending us your resume you are automatically entered to win a Tim Horton’s gift certificate. We also welcome resumes of non-skilled trades applicants. With your permission we keep your resume on file and if a position because available that matches what you have to offer we will contact you.

What happens when I send you my resume?

We receive many resumes every day. We strive to contact everyone after receipt, however, please be patient with us as this is not always feasible. If your resume has grabbed our attention we will contact you as soon as possible to talk about your experiences, background and your dream career. If we believe that you may be suitable for one of the positions and if the job profile interests you, we schedule a brief telephone interview. Along with your resume, we send your application to our Client. If they like what you may have to offer, you will be contacted to schedule an in person interview at your future work site.

If I move to Alberta, will you help me find accommodation etc?

If your new position requires you to relocate we will do our best to help you settle into your new community. Please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you may have. Feel free to visit living in Alberta and working in Alberta to find out more.

Can you help me improve my resume and interview skills?

We may offer you some suggestions on how you can improve your resume or interview skills in order to enhance your chances of being selected as a Candidate by our Client. If you are unsure about your resume or how you well you perform in an interview please ask us for assistance. Keep in mind, we want you to get the job and we are always happy to help.

Will my credentials be recognized in Alberta?
